Two youths were brutally murdered inside a jeans factory in Gandhi Nagar area of east Delhi on Saturday night.

The police said the duo were found lying in the pool of blood with multiple stabbed injuries when the gate of factory was opened on Sunday morning. They were rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital

where doctors declared them brought dead.

The victims have been identified as Deepak (25) and Anil (26). “There are multiple stab injuries all over their bodies and their hands and feet were tied. It suggests that there were three to four assailants,” said a senior police officer.

Deepak was found hanging upside down while Anil was lying in the bathroom with several injuries. The main office of factory was also ransacked. “We

are investigating the matter from all possible angles and robbery cannot be ruled out,” he said. The locals complained of some foul smell coming out from the factory, after which the police was called and the lock was broke open.

“The factory is located in Kailash Nagar area of Gandhi Nagar. After we received complaint from the locals, we broke open the door and recovered the two bodies,” the officer added.

Deepak and Anil, both natives of Bihar, were working in the factory from the past few years and used to stay in the factory at night after work. According to the police, the duo had to leave for their native place on Friday but they didn’t reach there. Their relatives kept calling them but they didn’t get any response.

“The factory was not opened on Saturday and we suspect that they were killed on Friday night itself. The bodies have been sent for the post mortem examination and the reports are awaited. The time of murder can only be established from the report,” the officer added.
