Used car dealer shot dead outside West Delhi eatery

A used car dealer was shot dead in West Delhi while he was outside a fast food restaurant on Monday night. The incident took place in Mianwali when the victim, 27-year-old Satish Yadav was out to have dinner.

According to police, Yadav a used car dealer, was shot thrice by assailants who followed his car and shot around six rounds. They added that according to preliminary investigations it seems to be a case of personal enmity.

“Yadav was driving his Mitsubishi Pajero to an eating outlet in Sunder Vihar,” said a senior police officer on the condition of anonymity, as he is not authorized to speak to the media.

“When he stepped out of the car, three assailants who came in a Maruti Swift started firing at him. Three bullets hit him and he died at the spot," The police said that Yadav is a resident of Mianwali.

The deceased has two daughters aged one and five. According to police, Yadav was alone at the time of the incident.

“His family was with his parents in Noida as they were having some function.”

The police said bystanders called the police who immediately took him to Maharaja Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

His body was later transferred to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for post mortem. The police said that they are investigating the case. Police said that the incident might involve an insider but are still investigating this angle.
