With a retrospective of Waheeda Rehman as the theme, the seventh edition of the Habitat Film Festival commenced on Saturday with screening of the yesteryear actor’s blockbuster Guide.
The nine-day long festival will showcase the 76-year-old actor’s major hits in her over six-decade career including Pyaasa, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, Teesri Kasam and Chaudhvi Ka Chand.
“I feel honoured that the Habitat Film festival is screening some of the favourite films of my career. I feel good when audiences still show the same craze as they used to when these films were released. These films are with those people whom I have enjoyed working like Guru Dutt and Dev Anand,” Waheeda said.
This year also brings a huge array of some award-winning regional films.
