A 24-year-old bank employee has claimed she was forcibly abducted by two men and molested in their car before she jumped out of the moving vehicle at northwest Delhi’s Aman Vihar on Thursday night.
In her complaint, the victim said she is acquainted with the duo who was nabbed on Friday.
“We received a call around 10: 54 pm that a woman was lying in a pool of blood at Baldev Public School at Aman Vihar. Two police teams and a police control room van rushed to the spot,” said BS Jaiswal, deputy commissioner of police (outer).
The victim, a resident of Aman Vihar, was returning home from her office at Karol Bagh when she was allegedly abducted by the duo, identified as Kuldeep, 24, and Deepak, 20, in their Alto car.
The woman said she had taken the Metro till Nangloi from where she boarded a rural transport vehicle for her house.
As soon as she got off, an Alto stopped near the vehicle, pushed her inside and sped away.
“They tried to molest her but the victim jumped out of the moving vehicle but the lower part of her left leg came under its rear wheel. Before the police team reached, a passerby took the victim to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment,” DCP Jaiswal said.
Kuldeep, 24, who owned a rural transport vehicle previously and Deepak, who used to drive it for him, were nabbed on Friday. A case of kidnapping and molestation has been registered against the duo who, police claimed, were acquainted with the victim.
