A young woman allegedly jumped onto the Delhi Metro tracks in Rajiv Chowk on Tuesday evening when a train was approaching the station but was saved due the timely application of brakes by the train operator. HT reports.
A young woman allegedly jumped onto the Delhi Metro tracks in Rajiv Chowk on Tuesday evening when a train was approaching the station but was saved due the timely application of brakes by the train operator.
The incident took place on the Jahangirpuri-Central Secretariat line. The woman allegedly jumped onto the tracks when a train was approaching to the station on its way to Central Secretariat.

"Seeing the woman on the tracks, the train operator applied emergency brakes and stopped the train thus averting a tragedy," said a metro spokesperson.
