A 26-year-old former air hostess was gunned down by three unidentified assailants in the Capital, police said.
Sheeba Thomas was driving home at about 11.30 pm on Tuesday night in her car and two motorcycle-borne youth stopped the vehicle and shot her dead, police said.
She was immediately shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead, they said. Thomas, who quit as an air hostess recently, was employed with a software firm.
In a separate incident, a retired Army personnel was shot at by unidentified persons last night, they said, adding he was shifted to the Army Hospital in Delhi.
