The water level of Yamuna River has crossed the danger level due to incessant rains in the last three days, forcing the government to evacuate people living in low-lying areas along its bank.

The river crossed the danger level of 204.83 metres last evening and now it is flowing 11 cm above the danger mark, a senior official said.
