Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy has accumulated huge wealth by misusing power, his rival and Telegu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu said in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Naidu said all opposition parties of Andhra Pradesh will Thursday make a joint representation to President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh against the corruption and misuse of power by the state chief minister.
"Since he became the chief minister, he has collected enormous wealth for his entire family by misusing his power and fraudulent means," Naidu told reporters.
"We have compiled a report having all the details and we will be presenting it (to the president and the prime minister) demanding strict legal action," he said.
The report, along with a book reproducing newspaper articles against the chief minister, was distributed to the media.
Leaders of the Communist Party of India (CPI), CPI-Marxist, Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) and Telugu Desam Party, were also present along with Naidu.
