A Delhi court on Saturday reserved the order on the bail pleas of Zee News editor Sudhir Chaudhary and Zee Business editor Samir Ahluwalia, for their alleged roles in the extortion bid from Congress MP Naveen Jindal's firm.

After hearing the arguments for five hours, additional sessions judge Raj Rani Mitra said the order will be given on Monday.

The counsel for editors said "The two editors are unimpeachable and their bail can be rejected, only if the prosecution proves that they are facing trial in other criminal cases". Public Prosecutor Rajiv Mohan opposed the plea, saying, "Each has played a vital role in commission of the offence. If they are released on bail, they may tamper with the evidence."
