We are born as human beings with a purpose, a mission. In our journey of life, we have to be productive and useful to society. But that can be possible only if one follows a rigorous path of will and objectives.
A life spent having done nothing is a life wasted. One should,
therefore, make a promise to one's own self that life has to be fruitful and beneficial. In order to make this happen, one can keep certain objectives in mind all the time.
First, believe that you can make a difference. The more we feel we have the ability to do and change, the more obliged we feel to do whatever we can to make that happen.
Second, make your objective clear: It is important that you should be clear in your mind about what you are going to do. And then you have to commit yourself to your goal without any ifs and buts.
Third, once decided, stick to it. Honouring your promise makes you feel great and others too will honour you.
Fourth, when you commit yourself to doing what you promise to yourself, you actually let your life speak in the most compelling way, by example. Accountability rarely depends on a specific outcome which, at times, maybe beyond your control.
Fifth, give your best in your work. This will make you see miracles happening at times. Because, when you give your best, you are less likely to get distracted. A person who does not get distracted, is a person on the way to be a winner.
And remind yourself time and again that you are the only person on this planet who has the sole custody of your life.
Your life is your 'plant'; to make it flower and bear fruits is your mission. Also keep in mind the wise counsel that life is too short for doing good things, but too long for doing bad things!
