Relocating to another city for your undergraduate degree can be a daunting task in a bachelor’s life. If you are a Delhiite who is looking for study options other than Delhi University, you must consider the following aspects before you take the final call.

Do a thorough research of the college you are going to. Do not settle for just any college and any course outside Delhi. If you plan to leave the city, which has good options in the open and distance learning mode as an alternative, you must see that the college you are going for is a clearly worthwhile choice.

Are you ready to live on your own? Think about it. Not all colleges have on-campus accommodation. Life in an unfamiliar city can be a difficult for a person on the cusp of teenage and adulthood. You may not be ready to stay away from your family.

Campus placements are a significant key to make your final decision. If yout college gets the companies that you ultimately wish to work for after graduation, then it’s a no-brainer.

Few cities can match the Delhi academic experience. Many institutes, however, across the country, have features including student support services/remedial classes and social justice programmes/community outreach activities.

Be prepared to manage a home. From household chores to budgeting, you may have to plan and executive things effectively on your own.
