Andra Pradesh has released the results of engineering stream of the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).

Andra Pradesh has released the results of engineering stream of the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).

The top 10 ranks were secured by boys and Satti Vamshikrishna Reddy of Visakhapatnam bagged the first rank by scoring 158 out of 160 marks. Four of the top 10 rankers are from Telangana.

Notification for admissions into engineering colleges will be issued on May 27. The officials will verify certificates on June 6. Seats will be allocated on June 22 while classes will start from June 27.

More than 2.90 lakh students had appeared in EAMCET held on April 29, a day after the Supreme Court delivered its judgement, asking all states to follow NEET. Despite a confusion after the court order, Andhra government went ahead with the examination.

A total of 1,79,642 students wrote the engineering test and out of them, 1,31,581 qualified. Andhra Pradesh has 1,50,000 engineering seats.

The candidates can check their results on the official website . Click on ‘Engineering Results’ and submit your hall ticket number and your result will be displayed on the screen.
