Anyone wanting to know about courses or simply the environment at Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Indore can get their queries answered on Krigger, a mobile application developed by a student of the institute.
Suraj Satyarthi, a fifth year student of Integrated Programme for Management (IPM), has developed the application based on a simple question-answer format that assures interaction with students of IIM-Indore.
“Thousands of people apply to IIM-Indore. Those who get selected are puzzled with questions ranging from life at the campus, quality of library to even lecture timings. They don’t have credible forums to clear doubts. Switching to Quora and Pagalguy.com are the only ways to satisfy these queries but those answering questions are not credible,” said Suraj.
“I have made this format in such a way that only people with IPM email IDs, meaning those undergoing the course, will be able to answer these questions. Even the director will not be able to do this,” said the founder of Krigger, adding that the application might expand usage by students of other courses soon.
“At present, we have nine heads under which a discussion is held on the application. These include academics, admission process, aptitude test, campus, faculty, fun and party, interview, anti-ragging and sports.”
Krigger also has a feature where users can interact with IIM-I students via a weekly hangout session. Tips to crack interviews and clear aptitude tests are shared during these sessions.
