AUD declares first cut-off for BA courses

The university has also released the list of candidates shortlisted for MA programmes

Ambedkar University, Delhi has declared its first cut-off list for admission to seven BA programmes. The cut-off marks for BA economics (hons) for NCT students in the general category are as follows: (arts: 75.75%; science: 79.75%; comerce: 80.75%).

The cut-off marks for BA English (hons) for NCT students in the general category are as follows: (arts: 74%; science: 78%; comerce: 79%).

The cut-off marks for BA history (hons) for NCT students in the general category are as follows: (arts: 60%; science: 64%; comerce: 65%).

The cut-off marks for BA mathematics (hons) for NCT students in the general category are as follows: (arts: 70%; science: 74%; comerce: 75%).

The cut-off marks for BA psychology (hons) for NCT students in the general category are as follows: (arts: 73%; science: 77%; comerce: 78%).

The cut-off marks for BA sociology (hons) for NCT students in the general category are as follows: (arts: 67%; science: 71%; comerce: 72%).

The cut-off marks for BA social science and humanities (hons) for NCT students in the general category are as follows: (arts: 60%; science: 64%; comerce: 65%).

The eligible candidates have to submit the following documents at the time of admission: photocopy of marksheet of 10+2 examination; photocopies of the Class 10 and 12 certificates; certificate of reserved category, if any; two affidavits on a R 10 non-judicial stamp paper each – one by student and another by guardian/parent against ragging. (The formats are available in the bulletin of information as annexure-I & II and also on the website www.aud.ac.in).

Students also need a demand draft for R 18,000 in the name of Ambedkar University, Delhi payable at New Delhi. Cheque/ cash will not be accepted in any case.

Students also need to bring three passport sized photographs.

Original certificates should also be brought (these will be returned after verification). Filled in admission form (may be downloaded from AUD website www.aud.ac.in. This form is different from the one which was submitted initially).

Submission of fee: The admission fee for BA hons programmes except psychology can be submitted at Dwarka Campus from June 28 to July 6 from 10am to 4pm (except on Saturdays and Sundays).

The admission fee for BA psychology (hons) will be accepted at Kashmere Gate campus during the above dates and time. If a candidate fails to submit the fees by the due date, his/her seat will be allotted to the next person in the merit list. For detials on cut-off lists, visit aud.ac.in. The second cut-off list is expected on July 7.

The university has also released the list of candidates shortlisted for MA programmes in the following: economics, English, history, sociology, development studies, and environment & development.
