Results of the final year polytechnic diploma exam of the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP) will be declared only on July 13, officials said on Monday.
This was for the fourth consecutive time the date of announcement of results were extended, prolonging the agony of 2.31 lakh students.
The results which were first scheduled to be out on June 25, were then rescheduled for June 30 and then to July 6.
The date of July 6 had been given as the board could not could not complete evaluation work on time. But late in the evening, a notice was uploaded on the website setting a new date of July 13.
SN Singh, secretary, board of technical education told HT that efforts are on to meet the new deadline. “There are certain technical issues that has delayed the process of preparing final year result,’ he said.
The BTEUP conducts examinations for students enrolled with polytechnic colleges across Uttar Pradesh in various disciplines like Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Automobile, Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT).
