Zaniest events to watch out for at college festivals lined up this week.

With students doing their best to come up with the wackiest, craziest events, college festivals are getting bigger and better. From handling item girl Rakhi Sawant’s public image to deceiving opponents à la Bigg Boss, you have it all here this week at city campuses.

Aarohan
College:Ramnarain Ruia College, Dadar
Dates: Dec 20 and 21
Kahani Mein Twist:Participants are given unrelated movie characters, based on which they have to pen dialogues and re-enact a scene. Gear up for wackiness as Kareena Kapoor’s character in Jab We Met replaces Basanti from Sholay.
When: December 20 at 10 am

IIT-BHigh Voltage

Bands like The Echoes, Coshish and Overdrive Trio will attempt to recreate the feel of the Woodstock festival.

When: December 20, 6 pm

Dhindora (Street Play)
About 30 minutes before the event, participants will be given a newspaper clipping, based on which they have to perform a street play. Expect themes from parliamentary sessions and social causes to even Bollywood gossip.

Dates: December 18-21.
Outdoor activities: Bring out the adventurous streak in you with activities like hot air ballooning, water Zorbing and UV paintball.

Australian progressive-rock outfit Karnivool will perform their first Indian concert here.

Last Man Standing
12 people will be locked up in a room for 12 hours. Four cameras will monitor their movement, à la Bigg Boss spacing . This social experiment will test whether friendship and trust overpowers betrayal or vice-versa.

Face Off - Fears Unleashed
Participants are given tasks that involve not only physical but mental fitness too. And, the fittest shall survive.
