Bhopal girl Ashi Sengar secured 19th all India rank (AIR) and was the state topper in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) result which were announced on Monday. Shubham Tomar, also from the state, was the all India topper in the Scheduled Caste category by scoring 149.75 marks.
Ashi Sengar scored 166 marks in CLAT. After completing her schooling from Delhi Public School (DPS) in 2015, she had taken admission in law in Barkatullah University. Sengar wants to be an IAS officer and wanted to get admission in NLIU.
“I am happy that I performed well and would be able to get admission into NLIU, Bangalore,” said Sengar.
Like the state topper, Shubham Tomar from Sehore also wanted to clear UPSC through law. “I want to do law to understand the legal system of India but my ultimate aim is to clear civil services.”
“Regular studies helped me in clearing the exam. But my teachers from Success Ahead coaching helped me a lot especially when I felt nervous,” he added.
Another girl Anushka Tiwari from Guna scored 162 marks and secured 46th AIR. Tiwari was preparing here in Bhopal for the past one year in Legal Edge. “My ultimate dream is to serve people. And I will do it by delivering justice to the poor. I want to remain in the judiciary,” said Tiwari.
Other students who have scored well included Divya Kumar Garg (All India rank 60th), Ekansh Arora (All India rank 66th), Hemant Gupta (All India rank 68th) and Anukriti Kudeshia (All India rank 72nd).
