The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the results of Chartered Accountancy (CA) final year and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) on Thursday.

In CPT, 12 students from Jaipur have featured in the top 25 this year. Rajat Manglani secured 12th All India Rank (AIR) whereas Samyak Jain secured AIR 15th, Princi Khaitan AIR 16th and Ankita Agarwal secured AIR with 17th position.

Previous year, 13 students from Jaipur had secured position in top 25 AIR and compared to it this year there has been a slightly lower performance by Jaipur kids.

A total of 440 students from the Jaipur had appeared in the entrance out of which 200 were able to clear it. In 2014, 856 students had appeared in CPT entrance and 418 were able to clear it.

Experts believe that it is due to the higher number of students who appeared in CPT previous year that the result ratio had lowered.
