Unlike last year, this time Delhi University (DU) will conduct an entrance test for Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Economics (BE) and Bachelor of Arts in Financial and Investment Analysis (FIA). The test will be conducted on June 14.
Aspiring students can apply online for these courses between May 20 and June 5. These tests will be conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies.
When the four year undergraduate programme (FYUP) was introduced by the university all three courses were merged and were called the Bachelor of hons in Management Studies (BMS). With the scrapping of the FYUP, the three courses were retained but the name of one course was changed.
Prior to the FYUP, Bachelor in Management Studies used to be called Bachelors of Business Studies, but later it was changed as per the UGC norms.
After the entrance, chosen candidates also have to go through a group discussion and interview which carry a certain percentage of marks. These courses are provided at Shaheed Sukdev College of Business Studies, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, College of Vocational Studies, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Keshav Maha Vidyalaya and Maharaja Agrasen College.
For the Non Collegiate Women Education Board, the registration will begin from June 8 and continue till June 22. The cut-off will be declared on July 8.
