Four NIT Jamshedpur students bag Rs 27 lakh offer from Amazon
Four students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur bagged on Monday offers to work with US-based online shopping retail giant Amazon at an annual package of Rs 27 lakh each, the institute’s spokesperson said.

These students are Sumit Sinha, Pankaj Kumar, Subham Kumar and Savyasachi, all from the computer science and engineering stream of the institute.
Last year, US-based software company Epic Systems selected two students from the same stream for an annual package of Rs 67 lakh each, so far the highest package offered in NIT-Jamshedpur.
A total of 41 NIT-Jamshedpur students were picked up by nine companies in the first round of campus selection on Monday.
“We're expecting about 90 companies to participate in the next 8-9 rounds of campus selection this year. We're confident of 100% placement through campus selection with more lucrative offers,” NIT-Jamshedpur spokesperson Dr Rajiv Bhusan told HT.
Grofers India, another online shopping company, recruited seven students for an annual salary package of Rs 10 lakh each. Accolite Software selected three students for Rs 10.5 lakh per year.
Honda R&D Two Wheeler selected two students at Rs 8.25 lakh annual offer while Mahindra Comviva, a software solutions company, offered annual Rs 6 lakh job to 14 students.
