The Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs) has issued a notification saying that four questions of the ACIO II/Exe (Tier I) examination will not be evaluated due to printing errors and candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the remaining questions.

The notification said, “All candidates who appeared in ACIO II/Exe Examination (Tier I) held on 15.10.2017, are hereby informed that due to printing errors in options of question numbers 2, 24, 25 and 78 these questions will not be evaluated and the candidates will be shortlisted for the next level on the basis of their performance on remaining questions only.”

Since October 15 when ACIO II/Exe Tier I examinations were held, a number of people have come to Twitter and criticised the way the examinations were conducted. Some of them even demanded re-examination saying that some questions were incorrect, the papers were distributed late and so on.
