Calling these schools 'pace-setters', the government on Monday announced the constitution of an expert panel that will aid and advise these schools in these matters.
The seven-member committee will be headed by former Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University vice-chancellor Ashok Vajpeyi. It will also advise these schools on 'library policy,' an announcement said.
The committee includes the director of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Krishna Kumar, the announcement said. The panel will be serviced by the Navodaya Vidyalayas Samiti and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
