The race to secure a seat at Delhi University’s undergraduate courses ends on Monday. The varsity received over 2.5 lakh applications till Sunday.

Monday is the last day for those who have still not filled either the online or offline forms.

The students who have already procured the common optical mark registration (OMR) form need to fill it and submit it before 3 pm on Monday at any of the eight centres.

The online process goes up to midnight and unlike previous years, the varsity received maximum registrations this year online.

With the registration process now coming to an end, DU will release the first cut-off list on June 25 after which the admissions will begin.

Apart from the centralised forms, Monday is also the last date for filling and submitting forms for the sports and extra-curricular (ECA) quota. These forms have to be submitted at the respective colleges.

For admission under the sports quota, the fitness test will begin from June 18 to June 20 at the university polo ground. The fitness test will be followed by trials for those who qualify. Similarly the trials for the ECA quota will be held in respective colleges.

Not more than 5% of the seats are reserved for sports/ECA quota (subject wise). Colleges are free to decide the actual number of seats to be filled on sports quota (not more than 5%) keeping in view the facilities available and requirement of the colleges.

For students seeking admission under the ‘children of war widows’ quota and ‘Kashmiri migrant’ quota, June 15 is the last date to register up to 1 pm at the new administrative block.

For children of war widows, there is a 5% reservation in each course. For Kashmiri migrants, a concession of 5% marks would be given in the minimum eligibility requirement prescribed for the general category candidates, to various courses.
