Luxury in India has already seen growth in fashion and apparel, hospitality, jewellery, automobiles, spa and wellness, to name a few. This product specific growth will create product specific training requirements. To fulfill these requirements, Luxury Connect, a New Delhi-based service organisation with a focus on luxury training and education, consulting, luxury e-commerce and sourcing, has launched a luxury business management programme.
With the growth of the Indian luxury industry, a common problem faced by all sub sectors is lack of skilled and trained manpower. Identifying this, Luxury Connect is collaborating with SDA Bocconi School of Management, Italy, to launch its first luxury business management programme in India by April, 2012. Candidates with minimum two years of experience in any product field of luxury are eligible to apply. The fee for the five-day executive learning programme is Rs 1 lakh, exclusive of taxes.
The programme covers the foundation of luxury business, discusses luxury strategies, luxury management, buying and merchandising, visual merchandising, marketing and public relations. There will be special sessions on the trends and structure of businesses such as luxury fashion, jewellery, automobiles, spa, health and wellness etc.
