Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will publish the result of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) or Class 12 board examinations on Monday on its official website.
The results were initially meant to be declared on May 3 but were postponed.
“The provisional results of the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2017 conducted by the NBSE shall be declared in the afternoon of 8th May 2017,” NBSE press release had said then.
NBSE is primarily responsible for promotion and development of secondary education in Nagaland. It was established by an act of the Nagaland legislative assembly on November 15, 1973, and started functioning from October 1, 1974.
NBSE officials said 55,190 students appeared for the HSLC and HSSLC exams that began on February 14 across 280 centres in the state.
According to NBSE, 22,446 students appeared for Class 10 exams in 76 centres and 15,472 for Class 12 in 54 centres. In HSSLC, 7631 students were males and 7841 females and 10,698 males and 11,748 females in HSLC.
