The result of the second round of seat allotment for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 was published on the official website on Monday.
The Phase II of NEET, an exam that determines admission into private and government medical and dental institutions across the country, was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on July 24. The first phase was conducted on May 1. The results of both the phases of the exam were announced on August 16.
The reporting at allotted colleges for students in the second round will start on September 13 and end on September 20 at 5pm. If there are any vacant seats left after the new admissions, they will be transferred to the state quota on September 20 after 5pm.
Steps to check results:
1) Log on to the official website, www.mcc.nic.in
2) Click on the ‘Allotment Result Round-2’
3) A new file displaying allotted institute against candidate’s All India Quota Rank (AIQR) will be displayed
4) Take a printout of the same

Candidates whose category has been upgraded in the same institution and subject will have to get an online generated relieving letter and take admission according to the upgraded category seat.
Such candidate must get the fresh admission letter for the upgraded category seat otherwise, the allotted seat will be cancelled.
