Registration of counselling of candidates successful in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) began today for admission to undergraduate medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) programmes, the results of which were declared on June 23.

The counselling is being done by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). For details of dates etc, please check the MCC website, http://www.mcc.nic.in. Or click here.

Steps to register for counselling:

Go to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) site.

Click on UG medical counselling and then all-India quota counselling, check the left side of the page that opens and click on ‘new registrations’ .

Once the page opens, candidates will be required to key in their roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, date of birth, cell number and email. They will just get a One Time Password(OTP) for completing the registration process on the mobile number given in the form so the mobile phone should be kept ready.

Seat allotments will be done over two days, from July 13 to 14, and results of counselling, round one, will be out on July 15.

Students will then be required to report at their medical/dental colleges over seven days from July 16 to July 22, up to 5 pm on the last day.

The second round of registrations will be done from August 1.
