EDUConvEx set to be held on Feb 4-5
The third EDUConvEx conference will be held on February 4-5, 2011 in New Delhi at the India Habitat Centre , with a focus on quality and adherence to international standards. It shall stress on the current thinking to address the emerging challenges of a transition, which is fundamental and unprecedented.
The event has been designed by an International Steering Committee with membership from University of Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) examinations, University of Wales, Institute Cardiff, Australian Council for Educational Research, Scottish Qualifications Authority — Scotland’s National Accrediting and Awarding body, University of Greenwich and will have speakers from Cambridge, Glasgow, Cardiff, Melbourne and New Delhi.
The focus is on suitably preparing school leavers to be equipped for the world of work and higher learning and the needed teacher training programmes
to achieve this goal. Accordingly, the emphasis is on English language skills, management skills, employability skills and competencies including
soft skills and continuous professional development.
