Scholarship to complete schooling in Singapore
Any student who has cleared Class VIII exam can apply for a scholarship to study in Singapore. Known as A-Star India Youth Scholarship, it is tenable for four years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education certificate.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply online. The shortlisted students would be called for test and interviews which would take place in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.

The scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from secondary three to pre-university two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

All applicants are required to send certified copies of the birth certificate; identity card / passport (if any); and final year examination result slips for the last two years directly to the Singapore Ministry of Education.

There is no bond attached to the scholarship and the scholars would stand to gain an allowance of S$2,200 (secondary) / S$2,400 (pre-university) per annum with hostel accommodation, economy class air fare.

Last date to apply is July 15
