Manupatra invites applications for annual essay competition
Manupatra Information Solutions is inviting applications for The Manupatra All India Essay Competition. The competition seeks to encourage and promote creative thinking and knowledge of legal understanding and research amongst the students. It is intended to be an award for cogency and novelty of thinking on issues of contemporary relevance. The medium of essay should be English.

The essay must be typewritten and double spaced on A4 size white paper with numbered pages. The extent should be maximum 3000 words. It must be accompanied with an abstract containing the title and a brief synopsis of the essay along with the word count of the essay. There are four different categories. Essays will be evaluated in each category. The prize money ranges between Rs 7500 to Rs 15,000.

Essays will be judged on the basis of its content, clarity and originality. Other aspects of quality such as coherence, style, organisation, spelling and grammatical perfection will be other parameters of evaluation.

The entries will be judged by a committee of leading law academicians, jurists, and law practitioners from across the world. The decision of the committee will be final.
