Odisha board (CHSE) declares Class 12 arts and commerce exam results

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) of Odisha announced on Wednesday the results of the annual Class 12 arts and commerce exam.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) of Odisha on Wednesday announced the results of the annual Class 12 arts and commerce exam.

Your result will be displayed on the screen

Students facing issues with their result will be able apply for re-evaluation online through www.chseodisha.nic.in.

Around 250,000 students appeared for the examination from the arts stream compared to 35,000 students from commerce and 10,000 from vocational studies.

The CHSE has already announced the results of Class 12 science on May 13. Around 85,000 students had appeared for the exam from the science stream, of which 67,997, or 80.8%, students passed.

The CHSE decided to announce the results for science first to allow students to sit for national-level entrance examinations and to take admission in the engineering and medical courses according to the Central Board of Secondary Education schedule.

In all, more than 373,000 students took the annual Class 12 (+2) examination between March 2 and March 24.

This year the CHSE faced problems during evaluation of answer sheets due to agitation by thousands of college teachers in the state demanding a salary hike. However, it managed to stick to its schedule between April 4 and April 26, considering the future of the students because a delay in declaration of results would prevent them from applying to colleges.
