Delhi University students appearing for the first year examinations for concurrent courses were a nervous lot when the question papers had not reached their exam centres.

Students at Hansraj College, KMC College, Laxmi Bai and Aurobindo College were left biting their nails for 15 to 40 excruciating minutes as college authorities made frantic calls to the examination branch for help. However, students got reprieve when they were granted extra time.

A teacher at Aurobindo College said, “The question paper arrived on fax machine and had to be photocopied. “ When contacted, officials at the examination branch said, “Some colleges goofed up in terms of supplying information to us.

But we reacted quickly and papers were supplied while students were granted extra time.”
