SBI PO recruitment 2017-18 has brought a bright opportunity for every person aiming to become a banker this year as the State Bank of India (SBI) has advertised for more than 2400 vacancies. SBI PO prelim exams are scheduled to be held on April 29, 30, and May 6 and 7.

These few days before the exam are very crucial to add a finishing touch to your preparation.

Although every year SBI PO exam has raised the bar for banking recruitment exam, but you should keep your calm and stay confident as this will help you score well and get through this phase of the exam.

Here is some last-minute advice to help you achieve good score:

Do not burden yourself with new topics and do study regularly: Staying focused is the key. At this point of time, many new things and thoughts might be popping in your mind, but you must not let them get over you. Don’t get confused by taking up too many new things or topics at the last moment. A regular study of all these sections for prelims -English, reasoning and quantitative aptitude - are important before the exam.

Go with a plan: Candidates should go with a proper plan. You should know what your strong topics are and where you lag. You have to be careful of negative marking as well. Sometimes a particular topic or question, for example, a puzzle or a question of data interpretation may be very difficult, and while attempting it you may get carried away by devoting more time to that particular question. It will mean that you will be compromising with other questions as you will have less time for them.

You can get exam tactics and strategy for SBI PO on different websites where you get to know how to tackle each section. You also need to remember that there is a sectional cut-off and if a section is tough, it will be tough for everyone so you don’t have to panic, just give your best attempt.

Mock tests are your saviour: You will just have 60 minutes for 100 questions in the exam and that leaves the ball in your court as you will have to manage time for each section. So in these last days, test series are your real saviour as by taking them every day you can work on your strategy of time and topic management. Search SBI PO 2017 on Google and you will get many good mock tests from leading institutes. These tests will help you to face the competition before the actual exam and have an upper edge.

Stay healthy and take care of yourself: Being sound and healthy is very important now, so don’t burden yourself with overwhelming thoughts and tasks. Your confidence will sail you through this phase of the exam. Along with last minute preparation, do take care of your mind and body as well.

Last minutes tips: Take a print out of your admit card and photo identity proof in advance as waiting for the last moment is not in your favour and do reach the exam centre well ahead of time to avoid any unnecessary tension.

Just believe in yourself and you will be able to pass this examination with flying colours.
