Scored below 90%? Little hope of getting a Science seat in DU

Students who have scored less than 90% have little chance of getting admission in popular science courses (honors) in Delhi University.

Popular science courses like computer science, physics, chemistry, statistics and electronics are not available for less than 90% in any of the 47 colleges which offer science courses.

Mathematics is available in only 2 colleges for less than 90%.

The highest cut-off for computer science is 100% at College of Vocational Studies and Indraprastha College for women while the lowest cut-off for Computer Science is 93% at Kalindi College.

The highest cut-off for Physics is 97.33 at Hansraj College while the lowest is 90% at Rajdhani College.

The situation is not very bright for those with less than 95%. Only 5 colleges have released cut-off at less than 95% for Physics, Chemistry and Electronics.

The lowest cut-off for Physical Science, which is available in 7 colleges for less than 90%, is at Bhagini Nivedita at 78%.

Courses like Botany and Zoology are available in 5 and 4 colleges respectively at less than 90%. The lowest for Botany is 81% at Zakir Hussain College while for Zoology it is 81 at the same college.
