St Stephen’s College has announced the admission schedule for postgraduate and certificate courses. Admission forms will be available from June 16 and June 20, respectively.

St Stephen’s College has announced the admission schedule for postgraduate and certificate courses. Admission forms will be available from June 16 and June 20, respectively.

The college offers certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses in nine languages, including French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Persian. The application process will be online and the forms will be available on the college website http://ststephens.edu/ from June 20.

“The eligibility is 55 % and above in English in Class 12 or equivalent. Admission will be on the basis of composite merit, adding marks obtained for class 12 and English language,” the college said on its website.

The last date for the online applications is June 30 and the first list will be out on July 1. The course will start in the last week of August and end in March 2017.

An entrance test is conducted for admission to diploma and advanced diploma courses for those who have a certificate and diploma, respectively, from an institute other than St. Stephen’s/DU.

The test is also for those who have taken a break after their certificate and diploma courses.

The application process for postgraduate courses will start from June 16. The college offers master’s degree in 10 subjects. There will be no online application forms for postgraduate courses.

“The college admits students for postgraduate courses only if they are cleared for admission by the university department concerned. Therefore, besides applying to St Stephen’s College in the prescribed form, the applicant is also required to apply to the corresponding department in the university,” the college said in its notification.
