What success mantras would you like to share with MBA aspirants on group discussions (GD) and personal interviews (PI) rounds?
For the group dicussions, no amount of mugging will help. If you are truly interested in a topic and if you know enough about it, it will show.
In most top management institutes, you are likely to be given a case study. So, instead of mugging up statistics that might prove utterly useless in the discussion, you should try to develop an analytical bent of mind and try to look at an issue from all perspectives.
While appearing for personal interviews, make an effort to be friendly, interactive and use your common sense. Remember, there are usually no wrong answers in an interview. All that matters is the way you answer the questions.
What should MBA aspirants do a day before the GD & PI rounds?
Get motivated. Get pumped up.
Any other important suggestions do you want to share with MBA aspirants?
Always have a plan B ready. It always helps to have backups, irrespective of how good you are.
