Telangana’s Board of Secondary Education may declare the results of Class 10 or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination on Thursday.
However, the board is yet to make an official announcement about the declaration of results. The results will be available on the official website of the board.
The advanced supplementary examinations are likely to be conducted in the last week of May or first week of June.
As many as 5.56 lakh students appeared for the SSC exam held from March 21 to April 9. Out of them, 5.21 lakh students were regular candidates and 35,000 were failed candidates.
About 5.13 lakh students had appeared for the exams conducted in 2015. It was the first SSC to be conducted after the formation of the separate Telangana state.
The pass percentage in 2015 exams was 77.56, down from 85.77 in the united Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
Last year, the results were announced on May 17 but this time, the board plans to declare the results early so that the process of admissions into Class 11 is hassle free.
The results in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh are also likely to be announced the same day.
