Outstanding young Indians who wish to pursue a master’s degree programme at select US colleges and universities in arts and culture management can apply for a Fulbright fellowship which entitles them to study programmes of their choice in a good US university. The areas of study include heritage conservation and museum studies, communication studies, conflict resolution, economics, environment, public administration, urban and regional planning, and women’s studies.

The programme is meant for highly motivated individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities, have completed the equivalent of a US bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks, have at least three years’ professional work experience, and are committed to return and contribute to their communities.

The applicant should not have another degree from a US university or be enrolled in a US degree programme and preferably be in the age group of 25-30 years.

The fellowships are for one to two years.
Application deadline is July 15. In the next following month, the selection committee will review applications to shortlist the candidates. In August, national interviews will take place.
