‘Fed up of politics,’ says Irom Sharmila

election results Updated: Mar 11, 2017 18:04 IST

“I am fed up of politics, won’t fight elections again,” Irom Sharmila tells HT. The rights activist and People’s Resurgence and Justice Alliance party nominee got fewer than 100 votes, losing to the incumbent chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh in Manipur.
