Pop star Cheryl Cole, who was recently sacked from the judging panel of the show
X Factor USA
, will receive the full pay of $2million just for four days of work. Fox network, which airs the show, let go of the 27-year-old due to “lack of chemistry” with fellow judges. And despite being on the panel for just four days, Cole will take home full pay for the series, reported Contactmusic.
Fellow judge Simon Cowell who brought the singer to US, says, “I feel guilty”. He adds that his “hands were tied” by network executives at Fox. “The channel chiefs just weren’t happy. It was a necessary evil and he feels terribly guilty about it,” a source close to Cowell said. Cole has been replaced by former Pussy Cat Doll Nicole Scherzinger as judge.
