The actor introspects, talks about past mistakes and new show.

Actor Christina Ricci has not been a part of the limelight in recent years, and as a result, perhaps the 31-year-old has not even aged in the public eye. However, the petite girl who shot to fame at the age of nine before almost fading into oblivion, has definitely learnt a few lessons in life.

“I thought it was hilarious that I had money, which is not the kind of attitude you should have. So I made all the mistakes that people make,” confesses the actor, who has managed to land a new TV drama based on Pan Am, an iconic air hostess, a show which the actor hopes will manage to bail her out of oblivion.

Since her debut in showbiz, she has earned a reputation for being different and quirky. Despite outgrowing that, she has had little luck with mainstream movies.

If her new TV stint doesn’t do the trick, Ricci says she is ready to return to her house and her single life in LA. “I’m an adult and I have to deal with the facts,” she smiles.
