Actor Aamir Khan is winning seetis and taalis galore for his Disco fighter item number in the film Delhi Belly. But, he’s worried that the song may land him in trouble with actor Anil Kapoor.
Talking about his ‘70s style look in the song, Aamir had earlier said that the enormous fake chest hair he sports in the song was inspired by Anil Kapoor. "Anil is out of the country right now. But, he is going to be very upset with me. I got Anil’s son Harsh to watch the movie and he laughed a lot. He said that his father is out of the country and will be back in a few days," said Aamir.
A week since its release, the film has not been cleared by the Pakistan and Nepal Censor Boards. And the 46-year-old actor has now come under criticism from fans who were expecting a typical Aamir Khan family flick. However, Aamir is not contrite. "Salman ki film ka gaana hai na, yeh kare toh, woh kare toh, main karu toh character dheela hai".
He adds that they consciously asked for an A-certificate for the film in order to ensure that fans were not shocked. "I have respect for my fans. Peepli Live mein kucch jagah aise shabdo ka istimaal kiya gaya hai, Delhi Belly mein to kaafi jagah hai. To maine apni taraf se A-certificate ki lye apply kiya. Producers fight if they get an A-certificate, but I did it on my own," he clarifies.
Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has accused Aamir of calling Delhi Belly an adult film in order to create a forbidden fruit curiosity around it. "By saying that it is an adult film?" he asks, adding, "I have a family audience. I am warning them from my side. But, Bhatt Saahab is my senior. Who soch samajh ke bol rahe honge."
