Aamir: Hello…checking sound

entertainment Updated: Dec 18, 2010 17:32 IST

Salaam, my sizzling sizzlers! What’s up with you this weekend? I’m gonna take off, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, to the quiet countryside in the midst of mountains, to just chill chill and just chill. But of course, before I drive off, I have some really spicy nuggets for you this Saturday morning. So read on sweetums…

Whether it’s hardcore commercial fare or an offbeat subject, Aamir Khan ensuring that everything is perfect with his movie is sure stating the obvious. So when Sher Lock Holmes tells me that the actor-filmmaker was spotted at a Juhu multiplex at as early as 4 am, I’m not surprised.

Seems like the actor is planning a promotional event for his wife Kiran Rao’s directorial debut, Dhobi Ghat, at this venue…. And that’s why he was checking the sound levels at this Juhu plex. Now why would he do that, I’m sure you’re curious to know.

So, my super sleuth tells me that Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaoalla, who has composed the music for this film, works on a different note from other music creators. That’s why, being the perfectionist that he is, Khan was double checking the effect of Santaoalla’s compositions at this plex.

Hmm…. Must agree Khan’s perfection and dedication to his movies is sure very hatt ke. Maan gaye Aamir!
