Buzz is that Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi are leading the race of actors likely to be cast in Rajkumar Hirani’s next film,

Ferrari Ki Sawari

. The duo have scored over both Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, according to a survey conducted by a team from Vinod Chopra Productions’ (VCP) across coffee shops, from Bandra to Juhu.

Young assistant directors and production executives went to Café Coffee Day, Barista and Costa Coffee franchisees in the suburbs and asked those seated there who they would like to see in

Ferrari Ki Sawari

, the story of a father and his nine-year-old son.

The survey was conducted over two weekends and Joshi got as many votes as Aamir, beating Shah Rukh by a considerable margin. The idea to carry such a survey out came from Vinod Chopra and got the thumbs up from Hirani. The film’s shoot is due to start this December.

Some viewers like Pooja Shah believe Joshi would make a cute father while Vibhor Chaturvedi voted for Aamir. For Anagha Nabar, it can be any of the two idiots from

3 Idiots

(2009). The final decision will be taken by Vinod Chopra.
