Looks like Abhishek Bachchan had a gala time during his visit to London. The actor not only met many international celebrities, but also indulged in interesting conversations with them. One such international star that Abhishek met was Hollywood actor Will Smith, and the duo ended up talking about fathers and sons working together in films.
“The last time Abhishek met Will, he was just about to start shooting for The Pursuit Of Happyness (2006) with his son Jaden. The conversation then was mainly about father-son duos shooting together. Abhishek too shared his experiences and spoke about what it was like working with his father Amitabh, in the movies that they had done,” says an insider close to Abhishek. The Bachchans had shared screen space in Bunty Aur Babli (2005) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) back then.
“This time around, Will and Abhishek ended up talking about how things had changed. Since their last meeting, Abhishek has done three more films with his father (Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, 2007; Sarkar Raj, 2008 and Paa, 2009). Will shared his experience of working with son Jaden once again in their new release, After Earth. They both marvelled at the way things had evolved. Will even asked about wife Aishwarya and their daughter Aaradhya. The two spoke at length about work and family,” adds the source.
Earlier during the trip, Abhishek met another Hollywood superstar, Al Pacino, at the premiere of the latter’s one-man act, An Evening With Pacino, in London. Aishwarya and Abhishek were in the UK capital to attend a charity concert, Chime For Change. Despite repeated attempts, Abhishek couldn’t be reached for a comment.
