Hollywood star George Clooney says he is sick of fellow celebrities who moan about their lives. The 50-year-old actor says that his peers moan about how tough their lives are, but he feels people need to remember how lucky they are.
“I cut tobacco for a living in Kentucky, I sold insurance door-to-door, I was selling women’s shoes at a department store. That’s hard work. Acting is not hard work. If you’re lucky enough to be sitting at a table like this, you’ve been very lucky in your life. There are long hours, but nobody wants to hear you complain,” he says.
Clooney doesn’t like other actors complaining, as he struggled to make it in the industry and says it has made him determined to enjoy his good fortune. “I remember I would hear of famous stars complaining in Hollywood about their hard lives. So, I find it challenging, but I don’t find it hard,” he says.
