First it was Ranbir Kapoor and now it’s actor Ali Zafar, who went to Nizamuddin for a dargah tozafar on Wednesday, to pray for the success of his upcoming movie, London, Paris, New York. “Whenever I go back home (Pakistan), people ask me if I have paid my respects at Ajmer Sharif and I tell them no. So, now that I am in Delhi, I surely wanted to visit Nizammudin dargah and seek the blessings,” the actor said. Ali’s co-star in the film, Aditi Rao Hydari was also keen on visiting the dargah but had to cancel the visit at the last minute. Says a source, “Aditi had planned to go with Ali. But there were no immediate security arrangements in place and she was afraid of getting mobbed, so she thought it best to avoid, this time.”
On the other hand, Ali prayed for a long time and performed all the rituals at the dargah. He even said that he’d come back again. London, Paris, New York is scheduled to release on March 2.
