Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie has revealed that her six kids, who organised her wedding with actor Brad Pitt in the South of France, also helped pen their vows.

“They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, ‘Sorry’ if we do. So they said, ‘Do you?’, and we said, ‘We do!’,” Jolie was quoted as saying in a first exclusive interview post-marriage with an international lifestyle magazine.

The 39-year-old also talked about her relationship with Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt since their surprise wedding, this past August. “It does feel different. It feels nice to be husband and wife,” she said.

Pitt and Jolie have been together for nearly nine years before they exchanged their wedding vows. Jolie continued that there was no cake, so their son Pax, 10, made a cake.

“The kids made little pillows for the rings, and Knox (son), 6, practiced being the ring bearer with an acorn that kept falling off the pillow.” Jolie also said that Pitt’s mom went and picked flowers and tied them up.

Special Envoy to a UN body (UNHCR), Jolie also hinted that she may quit her acting career and join politics, “When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility. But I honestly don’t know in what role I’d be more useful. I’m conscious of what I do for a living, and that (could) make it less possible,” she said.

Jolie is involved in the rehabilitation of refugees, and also campaigning for provision of basic rights to displaced citizens in their adopted countries.
