Arjun Rampal will be bringing down the house at the Formula One after-parties in the city this weekend. The three race days will see him bringing three different sets of international artists, including Grammy award winners Dirty Vegas. Even though he is down with viral fever, Rampal says he is excited and cannot wait for the big bash to get started.
“I’m exhausted and yet excited. On October 26, we have Beardyman and 16 Bit Lolitas performing at Lap at Hotel Samrat, followed by Dirty Vegas and DJ Ankytrixx on the 27th. I mean to differ the genres on all three nights ... and therefore on 28th, the final day, we have The Electroverts who are two sexy women, followed by Gareth Emery. And, I’ll also be performing for the first time!” he says. Meanwhile, the 39-year-old, whose latest film is Chakravyuh, said that he was excited when veteran actor Om Puri gave him a call on it. “He said I did a brilliant job. It felt great to hear such words from such an iconic figure in the film industry.”
Rampal also spoke of filmmaker Yash Chopra’s death as a great loss. “I was shocked; he was in such good shape. It is very sad and I think he was an icon in Indian cinema.”
