Actor Ashton Kutcher has decided to stop using Twitter after sparking off an outrage by defending ousted college football coach Joe Paterno, who was fired from the Pennsylvania State University team for not taking action against his former assistant Jerry Sandusky, who was charged with molesting eight boys.

His comment prompted a flurry of angry messages. Kutcher quickly deleted the post, and said, “As an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more remorseful. As of immediately I will stop tweeting until I find a way to properly manage this feed. Won’t happen again.”
